Holistic Energy Healing
For over 20 years I was in the government and corporate world supporting
computer networks. The stress was pretty high and I knew I needed to get
out. My cubicle was always the one people came to chat and unwind. I was
like Lucy in the Peanuts comic strip, "deposit $.25 please". Shortly after 9-11-
01 I became aware of the fact that natural healing was desperately needed in
this world. In January 2002, I began my studies in Body Somatic Therapy and
went on to learn many other healing modalities including Zen Shiatsu and
Traditional Chinese Medicine. This has been a very fulfilling journey and I am
so blessed. I was able to practice for two years under the guidance of a
Holistic doctor of medicine. I have a deep interest in avoidance of surgery and
prescription drugs whenever possible.
I really believe we were all born into this world with the rightful expectation of
well-being. It is ours for the taking but at the same time - it is a choice that we
have to make. We live in a world where hard work is expected and self care is
frowned upon.
Give yourself permission to rest and heal. Still Point is a place where you can
get away, focus on yourself and your health. It is a place to de-stress and
relax into your natural well-being.
Peace, Diane

What Kind of Massage do you do?
**********************************************************
***********************************************
It is true that disease and pain occur when something in the body is out of
balance, whether it is bones, soft tissue, or even emotions. Often I am asked
“what kind of massage do you do”? After three years in a wonderful healing
arts school I have training in several different types of massage, bodywork,
energy work and healing other modalities and I will work with you closely to
assist you in getting back in balance. With over 5 years of practice I often
combine different healing arts during your session to give you the best care
possible.
The nature of my practice is not a luxury frivolity although the work has a
profound sense of
deep relaxation. Most clients "sleep like a baby" the night of their session. It
is health oriented in nature and the goal is to "fix" on-going soft tissue
problems.
